Drone Training Program Manager Job Description

This role oversees the management of specialized drone training courses and contracts, ensuring efficient and effective delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in training management, unmanned aircraft operations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage drone training programs, ensuring all safety and performance metrics are met.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve contract matters and coordinate meetings.
  • Oversee UAV contracts, acting as a management representative for UATO and UABTO related issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date training courseware and content within the LMS system.
  • Incorporate industry best practices, regulations, and company standards into training programs.
  • Deliver engaging drone training sessions, assessing student learning and providing feedback.
  • Coordinate and manage drone training programs, tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree or Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Unmanned Aircraft Pilot License (UAPL) is mandatory.
  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ALCP/ACTA) and SFA, CPR & AED certifications are desirable.
