Job Description

This role involves delivering an industry innovation research project, working as part of the research team to model and simulate electric vessel's onboard microgrid and propulsion system. Responsibilities include participating in project management, developing digital twins of electrical power system architectures, designing and implementing energy management systems, and performing simulation studies and experimentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should have a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. You must also possess 5+ years of experience in power electronics, drives, control algorithms, and optimal energy management algorithm development for microgrid systems. Knowledge of software such as ETAP and MATLAB/Simulink is highly desirable. Additionally, prior experience in marine electrical propulsion system architectures and digital twins would be advantageous.
