Job Title: Life Strategy Director

Job Description:

The Life Strategy Director will be responsible for developing and managing the company's long-term life business strategies in India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement strategies for the life business in India based on a deep understanding of the market, competitive landscape, and overall conditions.
  • Deliver the company's offerings to the local market, focusing on product development, pricing, underwriting, and claims support for protection and financial solutions.
  • Work towards increasing the company's influence and reputation in the life business sector in India.
  • Monitor the financial impact of new business generation and manage in-force actions to optimize local balance sheet utilization and capital efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant working experience in the insurance/reinsurance sector in India.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Fellowship of an actuarial society (India, US, UK, Australian, or equivalent).
