The role of an Impact Investment & Startup Intern is a chance to contribute to the growth of innovative businesses while gaining hands-on experience in investment and operational aspects.

This internship extends beyond financial analysis as interns are required to spend time working on weekends at a local charity, providing a deeper understanding of social impact, an essential consideration in investment strategy.

The key responsibilities of this internship include:

  • Market Research & Due Diligence: Analyze industries, review business models, and assess financials to identify viable investment opportunities
  • Scouting & Sourcing: Identify high-potential startups and M&A opportunities, conduct outreach, and build relationships with founders
  • Investment Process Support: Assist in preparing investment memos, presentations, and internal reports for decision-making
  • Travel & Startup Immersion: Work remotely while based in Singapore, with opportunities for travel across Asia for market research and business engagements
  • Hands-On Teaching: Participate in a local charity on weekends to gain direct exposure to social impact

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A background in finance or economics
  • Comfortable working in unstructured environments
