Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Culinary Expert to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dish Preparation: Prepare and execute high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and quality standards.
  • Section Management: Manage your section ensuring all food is prepared efficiently and consistently.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques and hygiene practices are followed.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain kitchen cleanliness ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
  • Menu Development: Contribute to menu development including testing new dishes and making improvements based on feedback.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels communicating with the Head Chef regarding stock needs.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all food preparation and storage meet the required safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality service.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to changing kitchen demands and maintain composure during busy service periods.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Culinary Expert or Senior Cook in a high-volume restaurant or bistro.
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine is a plus.
  • Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
