Job Title: Senior Trade Strategist

Job Description:

This is a senior-level position responsible for leading the development and execution of trade strategies across Transpacific and Latin American markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the complexities of these trade lanes and be able to leverage this expertise to drive commercial growth.

The role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and operational expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and executing commercial and operational strategies, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute trade strategies to drive commercial growth and improve market share.
  • Manage vendor relationships to secure optimal pricing and service levels.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Network, Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of experience in container shipping, preferably within a carrier environment.
  • Deep expertise in Transpacific and/or Latin American markets, both commercially and operationally.
  • Strong strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage complex commercial negotiations.
