Warehouse Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials in a warehouse setting. This involves receiving goods from suppliers, accurately storing them, and then picking or putting away stocks/materials to or from storage bins as required.

The primary tasks include loading and unloading materials from vehicles, manually handling stock, packaging and labeling goods, ensuring they are properly stored, and assisting with inventory management. You must have excellent physical fitness levels due to the physically demanding nature of this work. Additionally, good communication skills are essential to ensure effective teamwork and coordination within the warehouse environment.

Picking and Packing:
As part of your duties, you will prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship). You will need to use warehouse management software to track inventory movements and ensure accurate data entry. Quality control also forms an integral part of your job responsibilities, where you will check product labels, lot number, manufacturing and expiry dates, markings, and relevant documents for accuracy.

Key Skills Required:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess at least 1-2 years' experience working in a similar warehouse assistant role. They should be able to start immediately and demonstrate strong organizational skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Essential skills include warehousing, housekeeping, inventory management, labeling, driving license, packaging, team player, and shipping. A willingness to learn new skills is also highly valued.

Requirements Summary:
Minimum qualifications and requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and Word, along with warehouse-specific knowledge such as shelving systems, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment processes.
