Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced infrastructure engineer to join our team. As an expert in large-scale infrastructure management, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing current hardware infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement current hardware infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and ensure a certain level of security for the current infrastructure and its components through regular audits and updates.
  • Manage user access to the current infrastructure.
  • Ensure infrastructure reliability and availability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Virtualize hardware for different functions such as Machine Learning training and isolated staging environments when required.
  • Collaborate with other teams to understand their infrastructure requirements and provide solutions.
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of hardware and networking.
  • Hands-on in the deployment to the client and proactively monitoring for deployment in the client site.
  • Document and communicate infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Maintain adequate IT documentation, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions, and contracts for external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate small-to-medium complexity projects from initiation to release and provide oversight to ensure alignment with Agile practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in managing large-scale, production infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security solutions.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security, server hardening, and firewall administration.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or GCP.
  • Ability to manage and maintain infrastructure using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
