Job Title: Chief Tax Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Chief Tax Compliance Specialist to join our Regional Tax Team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have expertise in corporate income tax, VAT/GST and withholding tax.

Countries covered include Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.

  • Tax Compliance:
    • Review of tax computation and tax returns for direct and indirect taxes in the Far East region.
    • Prepare and review responses on tax audits, queries and/or investigations from tax authorities in various locations.
    • Monitor and follow up on tax liabilities/refund positions of companies.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Providing guidance/advice on various tax compliance matters.
  • Reviewing quarterly Tax Webform and FIN 48/FAS 5 reporting (US GAAP reporting).
  • Supporting statutory audits on true-up calculations, tax adjustments and deferred tax analysis.
  • Managing external audits on tax-related queries.
