The company is seeking a highly skilled mechanical engineer to join its team. As a dynamic collective of problem solvers, we continually reimagine ways to create a smart and sustainable future.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Independently carry out conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design engineering for mechanical services, including ACMV, fire protection, plumbing, and sanitary systems for commercial, office buildings, and warehouses.
  • Perform E20 cooling load calculations, size, and select ACMV equipment (chillers, pumps, cooling towers), fan static pressure loss, and pump head calculations, fire sprinkler hydraulic calculations.
  • Undertake building services mechanical (HVAC, P&S, Fire Fighting/Protection systems) planning and engineering designs for buildings.
  • Carry out mechanical engineering designs, sizing, and selection of HVAC, P&S, and Fire Fighting/Protection systems and equipment, including ACMV, pumps, ventilation fans, pipelines, etc.
  • Spatial planning of mechanical equipment layouts, routings of distribution PipeWorks, considering space for maintenance and operation.
  • Consult with local authorities/agencies and perform trade studies/research, writing research/technical reports, project proposals, cost estimates.
  • Sketch and design the layout of ACMV and fire-related plantrooms, routings of ductworks and PipeWorks, considering space for maintenance and operation.
  • Prepare tender specifications and drawings, perform tender evaluations, and prepare tender evaluation reports. 

 

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University.
  • At least seven years of experience in carrying out designs of mechanical services (ACMV, Fire sprinkler system, Fire alarm system, Plumbing & Sanitary).
  • Experience in performing combined services drawings is an added advantage.
  • Conversant with relevant local codes and standards.
  • Proficient in MS Suites, Project, and ACAD.
