We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at the National University Health System. As a Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting quantitative data analysis and machine learning tasks in support of various research projects.

Job Summary

This role is focused on utilizing statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract insights from large datasets. You will work closely with our research team to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex research questions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing statistical models to analyze large datasets
  • Developing and training machine learning algorithms to predict outcomes and identify patterns
  • Collaborating with researchers to design and conduct studies that leverage quantitative data analysis and machine learning
  • Presenting findings and results to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and visualizations

What We Offer

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience with statistical software such as R or Python, as well as machine learning libraries like scikit-learn or TensorFlow
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced research environment
