About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Transformation Manager to join our team at Careers@Gov. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage effective channels to source and attract innovative and high growth technology product companies into our program.

As a Digital Transformation Manager, you will identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key ecosystem partners, including venture capital firms, accelerators, incubators, and government agencies. You will also establish new relationships with international industry partners to strengthen origination channels and increase the flow of curated foreign tech companies.

You will plan and lead overseas trips to nurture relationships with international industry partners, identify and engage with promising digital tech companies, and facilitate their onboarding onto our Accreditation and Spark program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Attracting Companies: Build and manage effective channels to source and attract innovative and high growth technology product companies into our program.
  • Nurturing Relationships: Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key ecosystem partners, including venture capital firms, accelerators, incubators, and government agencies.
  • Establishing New Relationships: Establish new relationships with international industry partners to strengthen origination channels and increase the flow of curated foreign tech companies.
  • Overseas Trips: Plan and lead overseas trips to nurture relationships with international industry partners, identify and engage with promising digital tech companies, and facilitate their onboarding onto our Accreditation and Spark program.
  • Screening and Assessment: Screen, assess, and recommend potential startups to be shortlisted for the Accreditation/Spark programs through conversations with key company stakeholders.
  • Due Diligence: Lead the overall due diligence process (technical, financial, and business operations) with the company and colleagues from other teams, and complete commercial and operations evaluation on the company.
  • Risk Assessment: Work with various team leads within the division to ensure all potential programme and company risks are assessed and mitigated during the evaluation and throughout the programme's duration.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in Technology or Business-related courses.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the ICT industry with experience in partner management, pre-sales, and/or consultancy.
  • Possibly with at least 3 years in a VC / Consulting firm / Corporate Innovation Lab environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge and/or domain expertise in forefront technology areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Metaverse/Web3.
  • Experience in business consulting would be advantageous.
  • A self-motivated individual with a high degree of personal initiative, flexibility, and positive attitude to adapt to our dynamic scope of activities.
  • A high EQ with the ability to effectively interact with key stakeholders, CXOs to be able to influence decisions and engage in strategic discussions.
  • Plugged into the ICT tech, start-up, and/or R&D ecosystem in Singapore.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Commercially-savvy.
