Job Title:

Senior Kubernetes Container Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Kubernetes Container Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing our Kubernetes container platform.

You will also be tasked with automating processes for deployment, scaling and maintenance of containers, as well as monitoring platform performance and implementing measures to optimize it.

In addition, you will collaborate with development teams to deploy applications, troubleshoot and diagnose system issues, and document configurations, processes and implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Designing, implementing and optimizing Kubernetes container platform
  2. Automating processes for deployment, scaling and maintenance of containers
  3. Monitoring platform performance and implementing measures to optimize it
  4. Collaborating with development teams to deploy applications
  5. Troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues
  6. Documenting configurations, processes and implementations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration, as well as experience in implementing and managing container platforms.

You should also have knowledge in automation and configuration management (e.g., Ansible), familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes, and experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Familiarity with Linux system administration is also required, as well as very good knowledge of German and/or English.
