Job Overview

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement efforts and drive strategic sourcing initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing the entire direct procurement process lifecycle, from request for quotation (RFQ) issuance to supplier selection, purchase order placement, and tracking.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal lead times, costs, quality standards, and payment terms, leveraging market insights and industry benchmarks.
  2. Monitor, track, and expedite pending purchase orders to prevent delays, ensuring seamless communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  3. Oversee invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation to guarantee accuracy, compliance, and timely settlement.
  4. Negotiate, review, and finalize contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs), minimizing organizational risk.
  5. Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues promptly, facilitating claim processes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  6. Foster strong, collaborative relationships with existing suppliers and identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and vendors to enhance the supply chain's efficiency, resilience, and diversity.
  7. Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, supplier performance, and emerging technologies, informing strategic procurement decisions.
  8. Ensure procurement activities adhere to organizational policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards, mitigating risks and ensuring audit compliance.
  9. Analyze procurement workflows, identify areas for enhancement, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate service quality.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or related field.
  • Experienced in procurement/supply chain management.
