We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Honing Machine Setter-Operator with CNC programming knowledge to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating honing and valve grinding machines.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in honing machine operation and CNC machine operation systems. You will be required to have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and operating honing and valve grinding machines
  • Reading and understanding engine manuals and requirements
  • Calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and measuring instruments
  • Machining parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders
  • Implementing latest cutting tool parameters for cycle time improvement and process improvement
  • Coordinating with RFQ for machine cost estimates and machining process selection
  • Selecting work tools based on planning requirements

You will also be responsible for sharing innovations for cost deduction and reducing machine running time, working independently, and demonstrating good time management skills.

The successful candidate will have excellent coordination skills, the ability to work night shifts, and the ability to train freshers and operators in the work area. They will also be required to prepare departmental reports on production and rejection.
