Executive Quantity Surveyor Role

We are seeking a seasoned Executive Quantity Surveyor to fill a key position in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying duties for MEP Works, including cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration.

  • Responsible for taking off quantities from drawings and pricing for cost estimates, tender documents, etc.
  • Leading and coaching junior staff in delivery of services, including checking on the works done by junior staff
  • Collaborating with clients and stakeholders internally and externally to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Attending meetings and site inspections when required.
  • Complying with best practices and quality assurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the MEP Works taking off from drawings and pricing for cost estimates, tender documents, etc.
  • Preparing various contracts and nominated sub-contracts for tender and contract formalization.
  • Measuring and taking off quantities for architectural and structural work elements.
  • Administering pre and post-contract consultancy work.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Building / Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience within pre and post-contract in consultancy environment would be advantageous.
  • Individuals of high caliber who are confident, driven, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and able to handle stress effectively.
