Job Summary:

The Senior Information Security Analyst is a critical role responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor, and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. This position ensures the execution of Information Security directives and activities align with Citigroup's data security policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential information security risks, providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Collect and analyze security risk evidence, collaborating with internal and external compliance agencies.
  • Communicate complex security topics and best practices to various levels of the organization.
  • Ensure daily utilization of controls and address non-compliance remediation.
  • Provide information security consulting services, interpreting and clarifying policy, procedures, and standards.
  • Assist in defining and implementing information security standards to align procedures and practices with Citigroup's standards.
  • Educate and advise on safe information security practices and current requirements.
  • Validate compliance with information security policies, practices, and procedures, resolving IS-related issues.
  • Assume a mentorship role, coaching and training new team members.
  • Demonstrate independence of judgment and autonomy.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Assess risk when making business decisions, considering the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
  • Drive application security assessments, analyzing the current application architecture to determine risk and requirements for onboarding to security monitoring tools.
  • Advise the application team on necessary controls for SAM compliance and help build a plan for the same.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Applicable certifications (Security+, CISM, CRISC, CISSP) or willingness to earn within 12 months.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Proven analytical skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
