Be part of a dynamic team that manages GIC's global liquidity portfolio and currency hedging program to generate superior risk-adjusted returns. As a Senior Portfolio Specialist, you will contribute to the development of business platforms and firm-level liquidity management capabilities.

About the Role

The role involves dynamically managing GIC's total liquidity pool, including front-end interest rate and funding risks arising from activities across global FX and money markets. You will identify and capitalize on STIR and FX funding market opportunities to generate alpha. The position requires at least three years of experience in FX and money markets, with a good fundamental understanding of relevant instruments, drivers, and dynamics. Risk-taking/portfolio management experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage GIC's total liquidity portfolio, currency hedges, and funding requirements.
  • Identify and capitalize on STIR and FX funding market opportunities to generate alpha.
  • Manage front-end interest rate and funding risks arising from GIC's activities across global FX and money markets.
  • Contribute to the development of BMG's business and technology platform to deliver sustainable portfolio outperformance and industry-leading capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience in FX and money markets.
  • Good fundamental understanding of relevant instruments, drivers, and dynamics.
  • Risk-taking/portfolio management experience is highly desirable.
