Hardware Design Engineer">

You will join our instrumentation team in Singapore. Our aim is to design, characterize generic instrumentation used to stimulate high end digital electronic components and verify their response.

We analyze customer needs and propose dedicated, efficient and cost-efficient solutions.

Your role consists of:

  1. Design and develop analog and digital circuit boards for embedded systems, sensors, communication modules, and power systems.
  2. Create and review schematics and PCB layouts using tools such as Cadence design suite or OrCAD.
  3. Conduct simulations, prototyping, and bench testing of hardware components, concept and systems.
  4. Select appropriate components and ensure compatibility with system requirements and regulatory standards.
  5. Collaborate with firmware/software engineers to ensure hardware-firmware-software integration.
  6. Work with manufacturing teams to support DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Test).
  7. Document hardware designs, specifications, and test procedures.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues from development through production stages.
  9. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  10. Depending on your profile, you may have to work on FPGA development.

High Current (1kA) / Low voltage technical environment requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering concepts.

You are part of the new Instruments team created in Singapore. You are working with our design teams located both in Europe and Singapore. As a team member, you follow our company design process, share, and review your work with the team members (HW, FW and SW). You may have to travel to Europe or customer site for technical meetings and trainings.

We require a rigorous, curious candidate who enjoys working on complex technical systems. The ideal candidate has significant experience or internship in Hardware design and some skills in programming languages (C, Python). Fluency in technical English is essential. Your team spirit allows you to integrate quickly internally, as on the projects. Beginners are accepted.

The required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferably 2+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and development.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools for circuit design (Schematic).
  • Strong understanding of FPGAs, power electronics, and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet 1G, 10G, Serdes, Aurora).
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI design practices and compliance testing.
  • Experience in high-speed PCB design and signal integrity analysis.
  • Familiarity with product development life cycle (from concept to production).
