Job Overview

As an Equipment Owner, you will assess, select, and justify the most suitable and cost-effective equipment for the production of our products. You will oversee the installation, modification, enhancement, and upkeep of manufacturing machinery. Collaborate with suppliers to address equipment challenges and manage vendor performance to achieve or surpass equipment KPIs, MTTR, MTBF, and objectives. Initiate projects and devise solutions aimed at boosting uptime, throughput, and cost efficiency while resolving equipment issues that impact the manufacturing workflow. Proficient in reviewing Process SPC data, configuring equipment FDC, and machine control, with experience in Fabguard applications. Enhance and maintain the equipment FDC OOC rate for SECS/GEM capable equipment. Provide technical assistance to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams. Develop and document preventative maintenance protocols and schedules. Conduct training sessions for shift personnel (PM operators, Technicians & Engineers). Mentor shift engineers in hardware troubleshooting, create troubleshooting documentation, and generate equipment OCAP for team sharing.

Qualifications

Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. A minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience with SUSS, TEL Track, SCREEN, and EVG equipment. Additional experience with exposure equipment is a plus. Willingness to work overtime if necessary, including in a cleanroom setting. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively prioritizing tasks and adhering to specific procedures. Strong technical expertise and knowledge of semiconductor processing and related equipment (Lithography). Experience in repairing and maintaining various Wafer Bonder, Developer, and Coater equipment operations and associated issues. Proficient in technical writing for equipment procedures, 8D, FMEA, RA, and Incident Reports. Capable of collaborating across departments for ICAR/8D resolution with proper implementation of measures. Familiarity with diagnostic tools for issue resolution (e.g., Multimeter, flow meter, TC wafer, TRH data logger, and hand tools). Experience in reviewing equipment purchase requirements in collaboration with other departments for new equipment acquisitions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong initiative and ability to work independently with a results-oriented mindset. Must demonstrate a positive attitude and be a team player.
