Job Description">

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for providing guidance to the business on laws, regulations and industry best practices. They will serve as the custodian of the firm's compliance policies and frameworks.

They will establish, update and enforce policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure the firm operates in full alignment with regulations, AML/CFT requirements and other applicable standards.

They will identify and assess enterprise-wide risks, implement mitigation measures and monitor internal processes to strengthen governance and support informed decision-making by senior management.

They will prepare for and coordinate with regulators during inspections or audits, ensuring timely responses, accurate documentation and proactive issue resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of compliance experience within the financial services industry, preferably in securities, brokerage or asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and AML/CFT frameworks, with proven ability to apply these in a practical, business-oriented manner.
  • Hands-on experience with regulatory audits and inspections, including preparation of reports, documentation and follow-up with regulators.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and advise on governance and risk management issues.
