Senior Syndicated Loan Agency Specialist

At DBS Bank Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an AVP, Syndicated Loan Agency, Institutional Banking Group Operations. This role will be responsible for supporting the syndication loan agency, security agency services, and managing the day-to-day processing of syndication loan administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Loan Agency: Support the syndication loan agency, security agency services, and manage the day-to-day processing of syndication loan administration, including drawdown, rollover, rate fixing, billing, prepayment, fee calculation, payment, and document safe-keeping arrangement.
- Review and Provide Comments: Review and provide comments on draft finance documents.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with Legal Counsels, Finance Parties, and Borrower for deal closing and conditions precedent and subsequent.
- Risk Management: Ensure all terms and conditions precedent of facility agreement are met before execution of any requests from borrower.
- Project Management: Manage any amendment or waivers request by Borrower from time to time as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure filing of relevant MAS returns within the specific time frame.
- Team Leadership: Support team lead to deliver KPIs as set by senior management.
- Process Improvement: Co-ordinate/participate in various enhancement projects in the department, such as system enhancement or ad-hoc projects.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, Project Financing knowledge will be an advantage.
- Knowledge: Good understanding of market practice in Syndication Loan Administration and Operations, especially with Syndication Agency roles.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge in finance documents, and good ability to interpret legal documents.
- Communication: Ability to communicate with internal and external parties professionally and accurately.
- Credit Evaluation: Familiar with credit evaluation process, loan accounting and policy.
- Default Loan Management: Default loan management skill and knowledge.
