Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a dedicated member to join our Safety team, aimed at enhancing our safety culture across all operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Safety, Health, and Sustainability for the APAC region, this role encompasses the development and delivery of training programs, toolbox discussions, and safety inductions for our seasonal workforce. You will also conduct audits and inspections, provide coaching to site supervisors, and assist in the formulation and review of essential safety procedures and documentation.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive and resilient individual who is passionate about problem-solving and engaging with leaders to foster a safer work environment. While proximity to one of our operational sites is preferred, we are open to considering candidates from other locations who can accommodate travel across our network.

The following qualifications and experiences will contribute to your success in this role:

  • Over 5 years of on-site experience in a similar capacity within process manufacturing, logistics, or agricultural settings.
  • A qualification in Health & Safety (minimum Cert IV WHS) or an equivalent credential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of WHS legislation in Queensland and New South Wales.
  • Experience in incident investigation methodologies, such as ICAM.
  • Proven ability to develop and draft primary safety procedures and training documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and building respectful relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage a dynamic workload effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to various sites.
  • A valid Driver's License.
