About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Design Intern to join our team at VFlowTech Pte. Ltd. As a Product Design Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our product development and commercialization efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in designing multiple mechanical components for our battery systems, including plastic tanks, container modifications, and piping design.
  • Perform flow simulations, structural analysis, and load calculations to ensure our designs meet the required specifications.
  • Support the team during the fabrication of our products at the workshop.
  • Assist with sourcing and procurement of mechanical and electrical components, writing reports, and performing experiments in the laboratory.
Learning Outcomes
  • Gain hands-on experience with various CAD software, including SolidWorks.
  • Learn the fabrication process of our complete battery systems.
  • Develop knowledge of dealing with local and overseas vendors and purchasing engineering components used in our batteries.
  • Improve your report writing skills and prepare product manuals.
Requirements
  • Currently studying Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge of simulation software, such as Ansys, is a plus.
  • Self-initiative and a proactive learner who is determined and steadfast.
  • Report writing skills.
