We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Technician to join our team at Jason Electronics (PTE) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of marine electronics and communications equipment/services onboard shipping vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with system and project engineers to implement, assemble, design, and test marine electronics and communications equipment.
  • Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot navigation, IT, Scada, communication systems, and equipment in workshop assembly and onsite.
  • Assist in conducting Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests with clients.
  • Contribute to improving operational procedures and offer advice on equipment performance.
  • Work with the team to investigate problems, diagnose, and repair faults to ensure equipment meets specifications.
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports, documentation, timesheets, and service reports as per company/client format.
  • Support the Service Department in resolving client enquiries.
Requirements:
  • Able to work under tight schedules with minimal supervision.
  • Available to travel on short notice.
  • Physically capable of working overtime, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Experience in Telecommunication systems in marine, shipyard, or offshore environments is preferred.
  • Fresh candidates are welcome, with onboard mentorship and On-Job-Trainings (OJT) provided.
