Cell Therapy Hub Opportunity

The Cell Therapy Hub is a new initiative within our organization, established to expand our specialized programmes and become a Reference Centre of Excellence. As part of this endeavour, we are seeking a Sr Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in performing Cell, Tissue, and Gene Therapy (CTGT) Product manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture CTGT products while adhering to cGMP guidelines and regulations.
  • Conduct routine quality control and in-process testing sampling at various stages throughout manufacturing.
  • Complete batch records and logbooks with adherence to Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
  • Clean and maintain equipment and classified areas according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Report any deviations or incidents to the supervisor.
  • Undertake simple preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  • Participate in laboratory administrative tasks such as filing and processing deliveries.
  • Support new manufacturing processes under supervision.
  • Investigate incidents and support root cause investigations.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Life Science, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical and/or medical device manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom operations and sterile/aseptic processing.
  • Good understanding of safe working practices and cGMP guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to differentiate colors and have above-average dexterity.
  • Basic computer literacy and customer-focused approach.
