Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Science and Operations Engineer to oversee our advanced industrial production line. The ideal candidate will have a passion for applying data science to complex real-life problems and possess excellent analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities for improvement on the production line and communicate them effectively.
- Analyze data to improve site inventory through analytics, scheduling optimization, and breakthrough reporting capabilities.
- Develop Python and SQL-based programs to support application development in scheduling optimizers.
- Collaborate with other engineering departments to improve overall line inventory performance.
- Create visualization and reporting capabilities to monitor line inventory health.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial System Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Tableau.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
