Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer - Project Lead to join our team at STAFFHUB GROUP PTE. LTD. as a Senior M&E Engineer. This is a key role that requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills to manage and deliver M&E projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth progress of M&E works.
  • Prepare and submit method statements, shop drawings, sample units, technical specifications, and other relevant documents for M&E related works.
  • Design and develop equipment, including air handling units, computer room air handling units, cooling towers, chillers, sequence of operations, control systems, and fire detection/suppression systems.
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors and consultants to prepare and submit shop drawings and materials/samples.
  • Prepare and check technical submissions to resolve site issues and drawings issues.
  • Develop and maintain site mechanical procedures, including emergency operating procedures, standard operating procedures, maintenance operating procedures, and acceptance procedures.
  • Assist the Technical Manager and Project Director in resolving M&E issues, including preparing M&E master and technical specification schedules.
  • Manage and coordinate M&E progress inspections, documentation, and resource utilization from project commencement to completion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or professional certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in M&E project management or a related field.
  • Desired knowledge and skills include construction management, electrical design, HVAC, electrical engineering, project planning, procurement, compliance, project management, AutoCAD, team player, scheduling, experience design, project engineering, cost control, commissioning, mechanical engineering, and workplace safety and health.
