Job Title: Aquatics Coach
Aquatics Coach - Seeking an Experienced Professional to Join Our Team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Aquatics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a speciality in Water Polo and experience coaching junior squads and learn to swim programmes.


Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coaching junior squads and learn to swim programmes
  • Assisting with the Senior Squads when necessary
  • Preparing, planning and delivering technically sound session plans
  • Monitoring student attendance/progress and providing feedback to parents periodically
  • Managing & achieving targets based on annual plans
  • Assisting PE teachers with delivering PE lessons during swim units throughout the school year

Operational Requirements:

The successful candidate will be required to ensure the pool area is safe, secure and presentable at all times.


Administrative Tasks:

The successful candidate will be required to assist with coordinating pre-season assessments, registrations, trials and class allocations.


Hosting Meets and Invitationals:

The successful candidate will be required to attend and coach at meets in which the Aquatics Team is competing.


Person Specifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Level 2 Coach or UKCC Level 2 certified or International equivalent
  • Qualified Coach with a minimum of 2 years of experience coaching
  • Certified First Aider
  • Computer-literate and familiar with Gmail and Google platforms
  • Confident in using social media responsibly as a tool to promote learning
  • Able to work with children of different age groups
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask and work independently
  • Confidently communicate with International School parents and staff
