Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Gantry Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and electronic works, with a strong background in mechatronics, electrical or electronics.

The primary objective of this position is to perform comprehensive maintenance for system hardware and software. This includes supervising and managing site operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.

  • To identify and troubleshoot issues, devising effective resolutions and communicating solutions to stakeholders.
  • To collaborate with contractors on-site, providing guidance and oversight on safety and work-related tasks.
  • To execute assigned tasks and projects, prioritizing objectives and meeting deadlines.
  • To document job activities and outcomes, maintaining accurate records and reports.

This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. A diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronics is preferred. Additionally, the ability to work at heights (up to 6 meters) in outdoor public road settings on gantries is essential.

A Class 3 driving license is required, as well as proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Windows operating systems. Site supervision experience is also necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical or Electronics.

  • Experience in electrical and electronic works, with knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Class 3 driving license.
