Job Title: Technical LeadPosition Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Java Developer with deep expertise in software development, application architecture, and technology strategy.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Java applications using modern frameworks and technologies.

You will be responsible for system analysis, design, development, and occasionally building proof-of-concepts to validate architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality Java applications with optimal performance and scalability.
  • Implement data access layers using Hibernate or iBatis with Oracle SQL, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage.
  • Integrate and manage workflows using Flowable or similar BPM engines, streamlining business processes.
  • Apply reactive programming principles to build responsive and resilient systems, handling multi-threading and concurrency challenges.
  • Analyze and debug performance issues at the JVM level, optimizing system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform system analysis and propose robust solutions, driving project success.
  • Conduct POCs to evaluate new design patterns, frameworks, or technologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for deliverables and proactively drive tasks to completion, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the financial services domain, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate/iBatis, and Oracle SQL, with the ability to apply these skills in real-world scenarios.
  • Solid understanding of reactive programming, including Spring WebFlux, to build responsive and scalable systems.
  • Experience with Flowable or similar workflow/BPM tools, with the ability to integrate and manage complex workflows.
  • Deep knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and JVM internals, with the ability to analyze and debug performance issues.
  • Ability to perform system analysis and contribute to architectural decisions, driving project success.
  • Experience in building POCs and evaluating new technologies, with a strong desire to learn and adapt.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with containerization (OpenShift Platform, Kubernetes), with the ability to deploy and manage containerized applications.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, with a focus on automating testing and deployment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
