Transport Planner Position

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning the future transportation infrastructure for Singapore, shaping the mobility network of Singapore to influence how Singaporeans travel.

This includes developing car-lite programmes and initiatives, reviewing parking policies, designing and supervising data collection activities, analysing and interpreting survey results, developing transport network improvements proposals, forecasting travel demand, assessing community benefits and determining economic performance.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications, preferably in Civil Engineering, Town/Urban Planning, Geography or a related discipline. Experience and knowledge in land use planning, transport planning and/or public engagement will be an advantage.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of modeling using EMME, VISSIM/VISUM and/or SIDRA or other similar transportation models
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with carrying out public engagement, with interpersonal skills to work well with and manage different internal and external stakeholders
  • Team player who is proactive and self-motivated with good time management
