Job Description

The Mechanical Completions Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical completion and commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with project requirements and company standards. This includes identifying project deliverables, reviewing project documentation, and coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely completion of certification requirements.

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Review and prepare project mechanical completion and commissioning handover management procedures.
  • Responsible for reviewing categorization of purchase orders with required certifications.
  • Attend supplier kick-off meetings to roll out package-related completions certification requirements.
  • Identify required information from engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers for population of the Project Completions Database and required certification.
  • Ensure that all required inspection and testing reports (ITRs) are issued to suppliers, subcontractors, and commissioning teams on a timely basis.
  • Plan and provide CMS training and completions process roll-out to project teams, commissioning teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
