Job Description

To lead a variety of Health, Safety & Environmental activities for all yards and project locations, monitor and evaluate the organization's overall HSE performance, and implement an effective workplace safety and health management system in accordance with prevailing legislation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead HSE activities for all yards and project locations
  • Monitor and evaluate HSE performance
  • Implement HSE management systems
  • Provide leadership and guidance in HSE aspects
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health regulations and statutory requirements
  • Develop and implement HSE strategies and measurable KPIs
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure site activities comply with MOM safety requirements
  • Investigate workplace accidents and advise on remedial measures
  • Review risk assessments and SWPs bi-annually
  • Conduct safety training and ensure HSE representatives are well-trained and equipped with HSE standards
  • Promote Workplace Safety and Health awareness among workers through campaigns and training courses
  • Participate in safety committee inspections and meetings
  • Report monthly HSE safety statistics reports to stakeholders

Requirements

We seek candidates with a strong background in HSE or relevant fields. Required qualifications include:

  • Degree in HSE or relevant field
  • MOM Registered WSH Officer
  • ECO (Environmental Control Officer) certificates preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of construction experience
  • Familiarity with ISO and BizSafe standards
  • Proven time management, leadership, qualities and interpersonal skills
  • Good Communication Skills
