Test Engineer Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our organization. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test cases, test plans, and test frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Automated Test Cases: Ensure that automated test cases, test plans, and test frameworks are up-to-date with requirements and policy changes.
  • Develop and Improve Test Frameworks: Develop and improve the automated test framework and test environments.
  • Conduct Testing: Conduct testing on new features and file defects.
  • Perform Various Tests: Perform various tests such as manual, functional, performance, and exploratory tests, and support UATs.
  • Assist in Resolving Production Issues: Assist in resolving production issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional Software Quality Testing Experience: At least 3 years of professional software quality testing experience with hands-on automation.
  • Testing Techniques and Risk Analysis: Strong understanding of testing techniques and risk analysis.
  • Test-Driven Development: Strong understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Kotlin.
  • Spring Boot: Knowledge of Spring Boot is an advantage.
  • Automation Tools: Experience with open-source automated testing frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, and Playwright. Automation tools like Selenium are beneficial.
  • Performance Testing Tools: Experience with open-source performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or enterprise-level tools like HP LoadRunner.
  • Penetration Testing Tools: Experience with open-source penetration testing tools such as ZAP, Burp Suite, SQL Map, or enterprise-level tools like HP Webinspect, Nessus, CheckMarx.
  • SCRUM Teams: Experience working in SCRUM teams.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive and Self-Driven: Proactive, self-driven, and motivated.
