Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Management Specialist to join our team at Careers@Gov. As a key member of the Emergency Preparedness Section, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies, plans, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for peacetime crises and National Emergencies (NE).

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate policies and develop plans to ensure CAAS achieves a high level of operational readiness for crisis management.
  • Coordinate with multiple agencies and conduct exercises to test and improve crisis management capabilities.
  • Develop and implement SOPs for peacetime crises and NE, ensuring seamless coordination and response.
  • Plan and conduct crisis management courses and exercises, including COVID-19 response for the aviation sector.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in developing emergency plans and planning and conducting exercise planning.
  • Aviation sector knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Past experience in the capacity of a Home Team or SAF officer will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate well with external agencies.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and readiness to respond to situations at short notice.

What We Offer

Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure in subsequent renewal.
