Job Description:

  • The primary objective of this position is to provide skilled massage therapy services to clients in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Perform various massage techniques, such as Swedish Massage, and other therapeutic modalities to promote relaxation and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of massages performed on each client, including any treatments or therapies administered.
  • Communicate with clients during massages to adjust techniques as needed and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Resolve any guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner and report accidents or incidents to the supervisor.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, replace treatment room sheets, and sterilize equipment before each use to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Explain massage techniques, treatments, and therapies to clients and provide suitable recommendations for their needs and preferences.
  • Ensure the spa is adequately stocked with supplies and report shortages to the supervisor to prevent any disruptions to service.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish Massage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology to understand the effects of massage on the body.
  • Certification in massage therapy or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
