Job Title: Supply Chain Business Process Expert

About the Role

The position is responsible for leading and managing supply chain business processes across the Asia-Pacific region.

  1. To provide input to central and local teams on local business processes and practices, as well as local IT landscapes.
  2. To describe current and future relevant processes and solution landscapes and assess their impact.
  3. To design, align, and manage adjustments of interfaces with 3PLs.
Responsibilities

The role collaborates closely with functional contacts and leads to ensure the seamless delivery of project scope. The responsibilities include:

  • Providing input to central and local teams on local business processes and practices.
  • Describing current and future relevant processes and solution landscapes and assessing their impact.
  • Designing, aligning, and managing adjustments of interfaces with 3PLs.
  • Participating in local fit-gap analysis, ensuring implications of template adoption are understood and identifying change impacts.
  • Ensuring template adoption is maximized and working with peers to gain commitment and understanding.
  • Adapting legacy systems for ASPIRE, including contributing to changes of legacy interfaced systems to ASPIRE.
  • Contributing to country questionnaires, system impact assessments, change impact assessments, data scoping, cleansing, and migration, including data enrichment and migration dress rehearsal.
  • Actively participating in extended networks to articulate critical local business and reporting requirements.
  • Identifying critical legal and regulatory requirements, business-critical gaps not covered by global solutions, and defining workarounds for business requirements that cannot be integrated into global solutions.
  • Identifying critical technical gaps (e.g., interfaces and reports) not covered by global solutions and defining workarounds for technical requirements that cannot be integrated into global solutions.
  • Identifying critical processual gaps of adjacent functions (e.g., Finance and Quality) not covered by global solutions and defining workarounds for business requirements that cannot be integrated into global solutions.
  • Orchestrating alignment for supply chain requirements with adjacent functions.
  • Involving respective SOP owners to update local SOPs where required.
  • Participating in relevant solution tests (SAT/UAT for local interfaces and reports), preparing and executing day-in-a-life simulations.
  • Acting as local change agents if necessary.
  • Conducting role mapping, analyzing, and resolving SOD issues if necessary.
  • Attending TTT sessions and coordinating and delivering local end-user training together with business and IT SMEs and localizing training materials.
  • Actively supporting local pre-deployment and deployment project phases, especially transition and go-live, planning and tracking local close-down and ramp-up.
  • Potentially being a key/super user for GDC APAC post-implementation of ASPIRE.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Supply Chain, Logistics). They must have a minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience working within a global environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements, particularly Good Supply Practices (GSP).

  • Change Agility: Willingness to stretch beyond comfort zones, rapidly learn new skills, and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Interpersonal & Cultural Acumen: Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships, with a keen awareness of cultural differences and their impact on communication and working styles.
