Risk Management Specialist

At DBS Bank Limited, we are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Senior Associate, Risk, Control.
Job SummaryThis is a critical position that requires someone with strong risk management skills and experience in operational risk control. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the applications of the bank's policies, standards, and regional operational handbook and governance.
Main Responsibilities:- Risk Assessment and Monitoring
The ideal candidate will conduct regular risk assessments and monitoring to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across customer centers.
Cross-Functional CollaborationThey will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure risk considerations are integrated into business decisions.
Independent Risk AssessmentThe successful candidate will independently assess risk and drive actions to address the root causes of operational lapses through in-depth reviews and challenging current processes.
Deep-Dive Reviews and InvestigationsThey will perform deep-dive reviews or investigations into risk incidents to identify root causes and provide recommendations to address control weaknesses.
Risk Reporting and ComplianceThe Senior Associate, Risk, Control will support internal/external audit engagement, facilitate timely submission of 'request for information' (RFI), and ensure compensating controls are in place, tracking with action owners for timely completion.
Business Continuity ManagementThey will also support the management of Business Continuity Management Action and actively engage and liaise with key stakeholders such as Compliance, Legal, HR, and Information Security on issues and reporting.
Continuous Risk TrainingThe successful candidate will support the development of continuous risk training and analysis.

The ideal candidate should have strong risk management skills and experience in operational risk control.
Excellent Communication and Collaboration SkillsThey should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Independent Problem-Solving SkillsThe successful candidate should be able to independently assess risk and drive actions to address root causes.
Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving SkillsThey should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct regular risk assessments and monitoring.
Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced EnvironmentThe Senior Associate, Risk, Control must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Compensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive salary of SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as medical insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
