At our organization, we're looking for a skilled Marine Sector Coordinator to join our team. As a Marine Sector Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the success of marine sector projects. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare, arrange, coordinate and monitor assigned projects from start to finish.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring project classifications, standards, rules and practices to ensure they meet client requirements.  

• Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients in the marine sector to provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process.  

• Collaborating with local businesses to obtain necessary permits, approvals and documentation for regional sales activities.  

• Interacting with customers to interpret their wants and requirements and report project status to managers on a regular basis.  

• Adapting common engine designs to match customer requirements, including conducting calculations on power output, fuel efficiency, emissions and cooling systems.  

• Coordinating materials and assisting with logistics, shipment and receipt of parts/equipment.  

• Monitoring and following-up with Head Office on engine shipment documentation and delivery schedule to guarantee timely delivery in accordance with contract specifications.  

• Providing technical solutions and answers to customers' installation and technical concerns.  

Requirements:

A minimum of three years' experience in marine engine sales, projects and applications engineering or technical support in the maritime sector is required.

Expertise in project management, handling and implementation is also essential.

Prior experience in managing technical and commercial projects from start to finish, preferably involving shipyards, vessel owners or original equipment manufacturers, is highly desirable.
