Architectural Drafter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to take on the role of preparing detailed shop drawings and construction drawings with quality and accuracy.

  • Prepare detailed shop drawings and construction drawings in line with industry standards
  • Develop detailed as-built drawings that accurately reflect the built environment
  • Conduct site checks to ensure proper dimension, connection and detail for fabrication
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Designers and Consultants on details drawing
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors and carpenters on fabrication details
  • Ensure proper documentation of current drawings and documents
  • Verify that drawings meet relevant code and compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma / Certificate in AutoCAD drawing or Architecture is required
  • Solid knowledge of AutoCAD software is essential
  • Practical knowledge in BIM Revit will be an advantage
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in producing construction detailed drawings, furniture & interior fit-out work is necessary
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings
  • Meticulous and able to work independently
