Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to fill a role that involves working with children with developmental challenges. The ideal candidate will provide individualized intervention and conduct group classes in various areas, including handwriting and socialization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess and provide occupational therapy for children with motor coordination disorder, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other developmental challenges.
  • Conduct group occupational therapy classes in areas such as fine motor skills development and social interaction training.
  • Establish strong relationships with parents, caregivers, and teachers through regular feedback and communication.
  • Update case notes and maintain accurate records of client progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in pediatric occupational therapy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in occupational therapy from a recognized university.
  • Registration under the Allied Health Professions Act 2011.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • At least 3 years experience working with children.
