As a postdoctoral research fellow in neuroscience at NTU, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment that combines cutting-edge techniques with a passion for discovery. Our research focus is on the gut-brain axis, investigating how bacteria in the gut signals to the host and influences physiology and behavior.
Our Research ApproachWe employ a combination of molecular biology, systems neuroscience, physiology, and behavior to understand host-microbe interactions. Our research aims to uncover the underlying mechanisms of diet and microbiome factors that modulate host phenotypes.
Key Requirements- A doctoral degree in neuroscience or relevant disciplines with a strong publication track record.
- Experience in multiphoton/2-photon in vivo calcium imaging and data analysis is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
