Job Overview:

Research Fellow

The National University of Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our team in the Department of Computer Science. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Principal Investigator on one or more research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI-focused accelerators, optimize GPU architectures, and create hardware designs to improve the efficiency and performance of current systems.
  • Conduct research and development activities in the field of computer science and information systems.

Requirements:

  • PhD degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong background in AI/ML algorithms, model acceleration, and simulator experience (e.g., gem5, GPGPU-Sim, RTL/cycle-accurate).
  • Proficiency in GPU programming languages (CUDA/ROCm) and kernel optimization.
  • Experience with hardware design (RTL, HLS, synthesis; FPGA a plus).
