Job Role: Fleet Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive/Executive to oversee the maintenance and operations of heavy vehicles, ensuring fleet readiness, coordinating repairs and servicing schedules, managing logistics operations, and optimizing fleet performance.

  • The ideal candidate will assist the manager in managing an in-house workshop for prime movers and trailers.
  • They will allocate repair work to mechanic technicians and supervise them accordingly.
  • Verify repair quotations for prime movers and trailers.
  • Conduct inspections on vendors' sites to ensure repairs works are completed timely and meet our expectations.
  • Evaluate staff skills, knowledge, and certifications to perform necessary work.
  • Ensure timely completion of work as per target set by management.
  • Collaborate with the Transport Department to ensure prime movers and trailers are serviced in time for LTA inspection.
  • Work closely with the Procurement department to control inventory availability and cost.
  • Prepare statistics and reports to review performance and make recommendations on operational and procedural enhancement/improvement.
  • Attend to drivers' feedback/call and recommend next course of action.
  • Maintain safety kits/PPE supplies and ensure adherence to safety regulations and safe work practices.
  • Manage tools, materials, spare parts, and proper upkeep of inventory and assets.
  • Ensure good housekeeping of the workshop.
  • Update job cards in a timely manner.
  • Assist in any other duties assigned.
