Job Description

This senior role involves managing a portfolio of key clients who are global commodity traders. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing KYC and compliance related activities to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Manage a portfolio of key clients who are largely global commodity traders.
  • Performing KYC and compliance related activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Increasing wallet share by growing and cross-selling into other product lines (capital markets, advisory, transaction banking, etc.).
  • Manage liaison and negotiations with all internal and external stakeholders, such as clients, lawyers, credit division, operations team, etc.
  • Ongoing credit monitoring and portfolio management.
  • Participate in business meetings or discussions when necessary.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Economics, or comparable field. At least 10 years of relevant experience dealing with global commodity traders as a coverage banker is required.

  • Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Management, Economics or comparable.
  • Has 10+ years of relevant experience dealing with global commodity traders as a coverage banker.
  • A background in Trade Commodity Finance (TCF) would be an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: SGD $120,000 - SGD $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
