Job Overview:

The Warehouse Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within the warehouse.

  • Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards for warehousing and logistics.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and providing necessary training to warehouse staff.
  • Plan and implement new warehouse layouts and workflows to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, including conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimize their productivity and professional growth.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external stakeholders to ensure efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in warehousing technologies and processes, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 8 years of proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or a similar role, with a successful track record of overseeing warehouse operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of warehouse management systems and software.
  • Strong understanding of laws, regulations, and industry standards for warehousing and logistics.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and MS Office applications.
