Blockchain Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will design, develop, and maintain software for various projects related to our core businesses.

This role involves working on large-scale infrastructure, creating web applications in a distributed environment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve our technology stack.

In addition to technical skills, you will be involved in the design of scalable applications, including AI-driven interfaces and agent-based systems.

About Us

Cronos is an open-source blockchain network that interoperates with both Ethereum and Cosmos technology. We support Decentralized Finance, NFTs, and the Metaverse.

We aim to massively scale the DeFi and Web3 user community by providing builders with the ability to instantly port apps and crypto assets from other chains while benefiting from low cost, high throughput, and fast finality.

Our ecosystem accelerator, Cronos Labs, drives the development of Cronos and its ecosystem. It deploys programs aimed at growing user and developer adoption of Cronos and incubates selected DApps to bootstrap the Cronos ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement solutions to complex problems in large-scale infrastructure
  • Create web applications in a distributed environment
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve tech stack for long-term engineering initiatives
Requirements
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience, at least 3 years in web development experience
  • Experience building and shipping DeFi applications is a plus
  • Experience with AI agent frameworks is a plus
  • Understanding of core principles of front-end frameworks used in ReactJS
  • Experience in using state management tools like Redux, Zustand
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
  • Familiar with RESTful API and GraphQL
