Job Title: Financial Markets Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide settlement support for derivatives products.
  • Manage risk control, architecture, and quality.
  • Build a data-driven culture with analytics capabilities.
  • Validate trades in Murex for interest rates derivatives and credit derivatives.
  • Perform pre-settlement confirmation with counterparties.
  • Authorise payments via AMH.
  • Execute fixing procedures for determining interest payoff of derivatives deals.
  • Liaise with local branches or Wealth Ops for settlement or fixing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely funding amounts.
  • Reconcile Nostro accounts and general ledgers, managing failed trades and trade positions between GFM risk systems.
  • Configure interest rates generators/indices.
  • Reconcile CCP trades between Murex and Clearers.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder with minimum 5 years of banking experience.
  • Experience in back-office operations, including processing, reconciliations, and settlements.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end transaction management processes in Structured products.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access, or VBA and Python as added advantages.
  • Knowledge in Funding and SWIFT MT202, MT103, Pacs008, and Pacs009.
  • Team player who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work on splits Ops locations (Asia Hub/Asia Gateway).
