About the Role:

This Research Associate position is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support research operations in the NTU Quantum Photonics Lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing project coordination, administrative tasks, purchasing and procurement, documentation and reporting, resource and budget management, and liaison duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate research projects, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and coordinating events.
  • Handle the procurement of laboratory equipment, consumables, and services, ensuring compliance with institutional policies.
  • Prepare and maintain records of project activities, progress reports, and assist in research paper preparation.
  • Track expenditures, ensure optimal resource utilization, and assist in budget planning.
  • Act as a bridge between the research team, external collaborators, and institutional departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Physics, or a relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Proactive, efficient, and responsive in managing tasks and responsibilities.
